I don’t bow to human beings, no more in this life

It may cause me pain, it may cause me strife

If I’m not equal, I won’t be around

You want me below? To you I’m not bound

The only thing above me is the one true God

Put me below, He gives me the nod

I’ll be gone in a second, I can take His hint

It may not be fast, time may be spent

It’s taken me a while to learn this hard lesson

Now that I get it, I’m no longer messing

My time is too precious, life is too short

I listen when I hear Him say, “abort!”

I’ve learned so much, it took time to see

You’re only as good and as equal as me

Not worse, not better, it’s even playing ground

Again, if I’m not equal, I won’t be around

Enjoy your life, you deserve it, no doubt about that

But if you deal in hierarchies, I’m gone, and that is a fact
